The Salaar Saga Unraveled: An Honest Review

Hello, movie enthusiasts! I'm Anuradha Sharma, and today we dive into the much-awaited Salaar, a cinematic extravaganza directed by none other than Prashant Neel and featuring our beloved darling, Prabhas. But the burning question remains—will it match the legendary KGF?

Well, buckle up because this review is about to spill the beans. As soon as the movie begins, a special thanks section hints at a surprise actor. I won't spoil it for you, but the mere mention of his name had the entire theater erupting. The twist? He's nowhere to be found in the entire film!

The Salaar Saga Unraveled: An Honest Review

The Plot Unveiled

Contrary to what the trailer might suggest, Salaar isn't a part of the KGF universe. The story revolves around two childhood friends caught in the chaos of an empire named Khan Saar, battling for the throne amidst internal politics and an old revenge saga. Brace yourselves; it's a thrilling 2 hours and 55 minutes ride!

Expectations vs. Reality

The movie's first half might leave you wondering why it seems so overpowered, much like Prabhas himself. The anticipation builds, but at times, it can be a bit overwhelming. However, the second half unveils a gripping backstory, though it feels a tad stretched.

Prashant Neel's signature style echoes throughout the film, reminiscent of KGF. From color grading to action choreography, the influence is palpable. Prabhas steals the show, making a powerful entry in every scene, albeit with 100 kg slow-motion motions that might seem a bit much.

The Verdict

Salaar, despite its flaws, is a good watch for action movie enthusiasts. The second part's name is revealed towards the end, but no need to sit through the credits—there's no post-credit scene. With a rating of 3.5 out of five stars, it's a solid entertainer that shouldn't be missed.

. See you in the next post!

Warm regards,

Anuradha Sharma
